PROCESS / FROM BRIEF TO OBJECT

Clear decisions
before production.

Every job is different, but the principle is simple: confirm the intended use, material, artwork and approval steps before making the full order.

Laser engraving production equipment operating inside the KERF Design workshop
01

Brief the job

Share what the object must do, the quantity, size, preferred material, required date and any artwork or reference.

02

Choose the process

KERF considers the surface, finish and expected use before recommending CO₂ laser, fiber marking, print, cutting or a combination.

03

Prepare the artwork

We check supplied files for size, line quality, legibility and any names or numbers. If extra artwork preparation is needed, we explain the work and any additional cost before production.

04

Proof or test

Where appropriate, we send you a digital proof, test the material or make a sample. We agree what you need to approve before production.

05

Produce & inspect

Approved work moves into production. Checks are matched to the job, including positioning, spelling, numbering, finish and quantity.

06

Complete the order

Finished pieces are cleaned, assembled or packed as agreed, then prepared for the confirmed collection or delivery method.
